Fiest Catering privacy information

How cookie choices, optional analytics and catering request information work on catering.fiest.io, with links to the applicable notices.

Your cookie choice

Fiest Oy is responsible for website analytics. Analytics runs only after acceptance in the cookie banner. Rejecting analytics leaves the forms available. Cookie settings in the site footer lets you withdraw consent. The choice is remembered for 180 days. Withdrawal stops new analytics collection and removes the analytics cookie; it does not delete events already received. Fiest’s privacy policy is linked below.

Optional analytics

PostHog’s EU Cloud receives page views and form steps through k.fiest.io. We measure a suggestion’s first edit, submission and success or failure, and an order’s first edit, review, submission and success or failure. Events include a timestamp, random visitor and session identifiers, known page path, language, browser and operating system information, device type, screen and viewport dimensions and technical SDK metadata. PostHog uses a ph_ cookie with a lifetime of up to 180 days from the last visit and session storage for browser tabs. No form answers, customer contact details, order contents or references, URL query strings or fragments are sent to analytics. Session replay and automatic click capture are disabled. The project discards client IP data and IP geolocation is disabled. Browser cookie expiry does not delete server-side events; the planned 12-month event retention limit has not yet been enabled.

Requests and privacy rights

A catering request separately needs the selections and contact information required to process it. Consult the notice linked in the restaurant’s form for that processing. Do not include individual guests’ medical details in free-text fields. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests about Fiest’s processing, email info@fiest.io. You can also contact the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman. This page explains the catering website and links to the existing Fiest policy; it does not change restaurant terms or create a new booking agreement.
